In a thrilling match between CPSC and Troopers, CPSC won the toss and elected to field first. With an excellent start from bowlers Vishal and Harry, CPSC got an early wicket and a spectacular catch by Harry at point. Things were going well for CPSC until the 18th over when Amit A and Prashant put up a good balling spell .Ravi, (a variation specialist) came to attack after the lunch break and created a bottle neck for Troopers. There was no answer by batters to his leg cutters…Chirayu’s amazing 34th over and some normal bowling by PK in the death overs kept Troopers’ score to 113.
In response, CPSC’s batting started with Chirayu and Binod, but a rain interruption slowed things down, and they could only reach 25 in 10 overs. Chirayu made his debut and scored 15 runs, and Binod supported him with double-digit runs. Then, the youngest player on the team, Vivek, came in and changed the tempo of the game with quick sixes and boundaries. With PK joining him, they took the score near 80. Ravi then joined the party and scored a couple of quick boundaries, and CPSC sealed the deal with a win by 6 wickets, concluding the innings by 2:55 PM.
Overall, it was a fantastic team effort by CPSC, and congratulations to all the players for the great show.
